These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of AI Log Journal (“we”, “us”, or “our”), including www.ailogjournal.com,app.ailogjournal.com, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service
AI Log Journal is a journaling product with optional AI features (such as chat replies, overthinking sessions, insights, and a character-based personality profile). Features may change as we improve the product.
AI Log Journal is not therapy, medical care, or crisis support. It is a journal. If you are in distress or need professional help, contact a qualified provider or visitfindahelpline.com.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Email us if you think someone else has access to it.
You must be old enough to use the Service under the laws of your country (and at least 13 years old).
3. Your content
You own the journal entries and other content you create (“Your Content”). You give us permission to host, store, process, and display Your Content only as needed to provide the Service, including sending relevant content to AI providers so features can respond.
You are responsible for Your Content. Do not use the Service to store or share content that is illegal, harmful, or that you do not have the right to use.
4. AI features
AI replies are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete, or unhelpful. Do not rely on them as professional advice. We use third-party AI providers (including OpenAI and OpenRouter) to power these features, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Free and Premium plans
We offer a free plan with usage limits, and a paid Premium plan. Current prices and limits are shown on the pricing page and may change. Premium billing is processed by Dodo Payments.
- You can cancel Premium from settings. Access continues through the end of the paid period unless stated otherwise at checkout.
- Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we say otherwise.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend Premium features until billing is fixed.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or misuse the Service
- Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data
- Probe, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse engineer the Service except where allowed by law
- Use automated scraping or bots that harm the Service or bypass limits
- Resell or misuse AI outputs in a way that violates these Terms or applicable law
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, branding, design, and software belong to AI Log Journal or our licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of the Service. You may not copy or reuse our branding without permission.
8. Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will meet your expectations.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, AI Log Journal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.
Some places do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms, if we shut down the Service, or if we need to for legal or security reasons. After account deletion, your journal content is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. If you continue using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
