How to pick your six

  • Pick who you see yourself in, not only who you like. The ones that feel a bit too familiar say the most.
  • Mix it up. Shows, films, books, anime and real people all work together.
  • Name the role if you name an actor. "Ryan Gosling, La La Land" reads as Sebastian, not Ryan.
  • Three is enough, six is best. More picks give a sharper pattern.

Why the characters you relate to say something about you

Nobody picks Michael Corleone because they want to run a crime family. You pick him because some part of him feels familiar. Six picks show a pattern no single answer could.

The read is built on Jung's idea of archetypes: a few recurring characters that show up in stories everywhere. Your six pull toward one of them, and the blend says the rest.

Questions

How does the character test work?

You name up to six characters you relate to, from shows, films, books or real life. We read the pattern across them and tell you your archetype, which character you're closest to, your core traits and how you react under pressure.

Can I pick real people?

Yes. Pick anyone you relate to. If you name an actor and a film, we read the character they play there.

What do I get for free?

Your archetype, the character you're closest to, your core traits, your role in the story, and six situations showing how you react. No signup needed.

Is this a real personality test?

It's a personality read for fun and reflection, based on Jung's idea of archetypes. It isn't a clinical test, therapy or a diagnosis.
